Our prices and what they include
We publish two tiers for an online store so you know the range before you ask. If you only want a landing page so customers can find and call you, see what a website costs.
| Package | Price | Included | Fits when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Web App Bundle | $200, fixed price | One online store (customers order on the web, you receive the orders in one place), a landing page, business email on your domain with no monthly fee, hosting and SSL for year one. Delivered in about 1 week. | A small shop that wants to start selling online. |
| Custom System | from $400 | Everything in the Web App Bundle, several account levels, stock and customer management, an online store whose orders and stock sync with the software you already use. | You already run sales or stock software and do not want to enter figures in two places. Price fixed in writing after a 30-minute call. |
Not included: content writing, product photos, payment gateway contracts, ads. See live demos before you decide.
What the price of an online store depends on
Two online stores that look alike from outside can differ a lot in price because the work underneath differs. The table lists the factors that move the price and the question to ask any studio that quotes. It has no numbers because they depend on the shop.
| Factor | Price goes up when | Ask |
|---|---|---|
| Product catalog | Many products, many variants such as size and colour, or products that have to be loaded onto the site. | Who puts the products on the site, and is that in the price? |
| Order flow | Ordering, order confirmation and delivery follow steps specific to your shop. | Where do I receive the order once a customer places it, and which steps are built just for me? |
| Sync with software you already use | Orders and stock have to match the sales or stock software your shop runs on. | Can it connect to my software, and is that written as a separate line in the quote? |
| Payments | You take money online through a payment gateway instead of bank transfer or cash on delivery. | Who signs the gateway contract, and how is the connection to the site priced? |
| User roles | Owner, manager and staff need different access. | What can each level see and change? |
| Content and photos | Product descriptions have to be written and products photographed. | Who writes and photographs, and is it in the price? |
| Care | You want someone to fix bugs and apply security updates each month. | After the free bug-fix period, how is care priced and can I stop? |
Syncing stock and orders with the software you use
If your shop already has sales or stock software, this is the item that moves the price most. When the website sells one more item, the stock software has to take one off. Otherwise you enter figures in two places and the numbers drift apart by the end of the day.
The Web App Bundle collects web orders in one place but does not sync with other software. Syncing orders and stock belongs to the Custom System. Whether a connection is possible, and how, depends on what your software allows. We check on the 30-minute call, tell you plainly and put the result in the quote.
Costs outside the quote for an online store
Some costs are not part of building the store but you will still meet them. For third-party fees, check the current price on the provider's official page.
| Cost | Paid to whom, when | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Domain name | A domain registrar, usually renewed every year. | You register it yourself, in your name. The registration fee is not in the package price; we guide the registration and connect the site to the domain. |
| Hosting and SSL | A hosting provider, renewed every year. | The Web App Bundle includes hosting and SSL for year one. From year two we quote before renewal. |
| Online payment fees | The payment gateway or bank, usually charged per transaction. | You need a contract with the gateway. It is not part of our packages. We state the connection work in the quote. |
| Content and product photos | Whoever writes, photographs or translates. | Content writing and product photos are not part of our packages. You send names, prices and photos and we put them on the site. |
| Advertising | The ad platform and whoever runs the ads. | Running ads is not part of our packages. |
| Care and new features | Us, if you choose it. | Bug fixes are free for the first 30 days. After that monthly care is quoted on request and you can stop any month. A new feature is $100 each, about 2 days of work; bigger jobs are quoted separately. |
How to compare two online store quotes
Two quotes rarely cover the same thing, so you cannot compare the two numbers directly. Go through these steps in order. How to read any website quote is covered in what a website costs.
- Put both quotes against the same feature list: product catalog, receiving orders, payments, stock sync. The cheaper one is often missing a line.
- Ask whether each quote syncs orders and stock with the software you use, or only receives orders that you then retype.
- Mark what each one charges separately: domain, hosting, payment gateway, content, product photos.
- Compare year one and year two, not just delivery day. Hosting and care repeat every year or month.
- Ask who keeps the domain, source code and admin accounts. It should be you.
- See it running or see a demo before you pay, and read the bug-fix terms after launch.
With us: the price is fixed in writing and sent within 2 working days, you see it running every Friday, code and accounts are in your name, and bug fixes are free for 30 days after launch.
What to prepare before asking for a price
You do not need it perfect; one line per item is enough to start the free 30-minute call. See the pricing too.
- The products to put online, with prices and photos if you have them.
- How customers order today (Zalo, Facebook, phone) and how they pay.
- The sales or stock software you use, if any.
- How many people need to log in to see orders, and what each needs to see.
- Whether you already own a domain, and in whose name.
- The date you want the store live.
