Frequently asked questions
Do you build for both iPhone and Android?
Yes. One project covers an app that runs on both. The price comes from the free
price calculator, and the exact scope is written in the quote.
Do you publish the app on the App Store and Google Play?
The quote spells out who registers the accounts, the fees and the review wait. The accounts are always in your name.
How long does it take?
The delivery date is written in the quote and depends on the size of the app. You see it running every Friday.
What if something breaks after launch?
We fix bugs free for 30 days. New features are quoted separately.
What affects the price and the delivery date of an app?
The price depends on the number of screens and features, whether there are logins and several account levels, data kept on a server, payments and notifications, connections to software you already use, and custom design. The delivery date also depends on how big the app is and is written in the quote. The full table is in
how much a mobile app costs; for a range for your own app, use the
price calculator.
What is included in the price of an app, and what is not?
Included: one app that runs on both iPhone and Android, a working version you see before you pay, code and accounts in your name, and 30 days of free bug fixes. Outside the build price: the Apple and Google developer account fees, a server if the app has to store data, updates when the operating system changes, and new features after launch (quoted separately). The quote lists each item.
Do I need to hire a company to build an app?
Not always. For simple jobs such as basic booking or selling, a ready-made service can be enough. Hire someone when you need an app built around how your business really works. Then we handle design, build, testing, getting it into the app stores and fixing bugs after launch. Tell us your need on the free 30-minute call and we say plainly which route fits.
I want an app like Grab, but simpler, for my own service
Start with one core flow: a customer books or requests the service, a simple side for staff or drivers to accept jobs, and notifications. A Grab-style app has several layers: a customer app, a provider app, an admin page, payments and maps. Live matching of customers to drivers at scale is a much bigger project. We promise nothing up front; start small, grow later, and the free 30-minute call settles what goes into the first version.
How does a custom app project work?
You tell us what you need on the free 30-minute call. We send a written quote; every Friday you see it running, and we revise until you are happy. You see it running before you pay. For a range up front, use the
price calculator.
What about hiring someone to build a phone app for iOS and Android?
One project covers an app that runs on both iPhone and Android, including the screen design. Getting it into the App Store and Google Play, who registers the accounts, the fees and the review wait are all written in the quote; the accounts are in your name.
How much money should I prepare for a customer booking app?
It depends on the number of screens, whether there are logins, payments, notifications, and whether it runs on iPhone, Android or both. We give no generic figure. Use the free
price calculator for a range, see the full table in
how much a mobile app costs, and a written quote follows the call. If you only need basic booking, the
Web App Bundle may be lighter.
I cannot code. I have an app idea; who should I hire?
You need no technical skills. Bring three things to the call: the one problem the app must solve, who will use it, and a sketch of the three main screens (pen and paper is fine). We ask the rest and write it down. If the app needs to link to a management system, see
Custom System.
